Keziah W. Kamau, 58, of Powder Springs, is accused of vehicular homicide on Jan. 3 at 12:59 p.m. at the intersection of Richard D. Sailors Parkway and Villa Springs Circle in Powder Springs, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Kamau operated a 2013 Lexus RX350 that was traveling east on Richard D. Sailors Parkway and collided with the raised center median east of Villa Springs Circle. The Lexus continued in an eastern direction, across the median, and into the westbound lanes of Sailors Parkway. The front of the Lexus collided with the front of a 2022 Jeep Compass and caused the death of Lois Neal, who died on Jan. 17. The Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office attributed Neal’s death to blunt trauma due to the collision, according to the warrant.
Kamau is charged with driving – failure to maintain lane; and homicide by vehicle – second degree. She was arrested on Feb. 26 at 8:12 a.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
