DALLAS — Prominent Dallas-based luxury retailer Stanley Korshak has sold to an East Coast department store chain, according to a broker who has represented the high-end fashion brand in lease negotiations.
Connecticut-based Mitchells Stores told Women’s Wear Daily on March 4 that it bought Stanley Korshak, adding the Dallas brand to its list of retail holdings that include Wilkes Bashford, Richards and Marios. Steve Lieberman, CEO and co-chairman of the Retail Connection, confirmed the sale to Dallas Business Journal.
Lieberman noted Mitchells has multiple stores on the East and West coasts while Stanley Korshak has just one in Dallas. Mitchells, a family business and independent retail chain that was founded in 1958, operates eight stores across the country…
