National Cheerleaders Association Moving Competition Out of Dallas, Texas

Not a good week of news when it comes to National Cheerleaders Association and Dallas.

Since 1995, the NCA or National Cheerleaders Association has held their All Star Cheer Competition in Dallas. This event generates tens of millions of dollars for the Dallas area with so many cheer leading organizations coming in to compete for the best. For instance, at the 2018 event 23,655 athletes from over 39 states and 9 countries came to Dallas to compete. This is a very big deal in the world of cheer leading. However, this past event did not go so well last week.

A fight broke out between some parents, which you can watch above. This fight however, started chaos at the competition. During the scuffle, some large poles were knocked over creating some loud booms. The thousands of people in attendance thought a gun was going off and fled the competition for safety. This chaos caused a stampede and ten people in total have claimed injuries from this event over the weekend…
