New Jersey State Police confiscated several million dollars’ worth of heroin and fentanyl — enough for almost 500,000 doses of the drugs — in the culmination of a three-year investigation, officials said Wednesday.
Authorities said they busted four opioid mills in Paterson — at 150 Harrison St., 92 Manchester Ave., 292 West Railway Ave., and 200 Godwin Ave. — as well as one in Garfield at 91 Jewel St.
The brand names stamped on the opioid packets connected to the operation have been linked to 109 drug deaths and 143 non-fatal overdoses in the past several years, officials said…
