A 59-year-old man died after being bashed in the head inside the Bronx Safe Haven apartment building where he lived early Wednesday, police said.
The victim was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where he died, after he was found unresponsive in his room on E. 146th St. near Third Ave. in Mott Haven just after midnight. He suffered trauma to his head and face, cops said.
