IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – The Iowa City Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center is gearing up for potentially hundreds of its workers to be cut.
That’s because the national Veteran’s Affairs department is preparing to cut as many as 80,000 employees nationwide. It comes after the Iowa City VA just had two rounds of layoffs for probationary workers.
