Results from damage surveys of severe thunderstorms and tornadoes that impacted Oklahoma on Tuesday, March 4 are coming in. So far, eight tornadoes are confirmed and seven of the tornadoes have been rated.
Most of the tornadoes from Tuesday, March 4 struck in eastern and southeastern Oklahoma. Five sperate EF1 tornadoes struck Ada, Union Valley, Henryetta and Morris. Two EF1 tornadoes impacted Henryetta. Two separate EF0 tornadoes hit Eram and Checotah. More damage surveys are being conducted on Wednesday, March 5.
The tornadoes occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Most residents woke up to scatter debris, downed power lines and trees. Other towns saw homes flattened, roofs blown off and businesses destroyed.
Early reports indicated Ada was struck by three tornadoes.
