Man arrested after leading Monona police on chase, driving through fence

MONONA, Wis. — Monona police arrested a man early Tuesday who they said led officers on a chase, crashed then ran from the scene.

Officers spotted the suspect vehicle at around 3:11 a.m. The vehicle had allegedly driven away from a Wisconsin State Patrol trooper about 15 minutes beforehand and was displaying a stolen license plate.
