According to the St. Louis Police Department, on March 1, 2025, a three-car accident near Calvary Avenue and North Broadway in the North Riverfront neighborhood of St. Louis claimed the life of a well-known makeup artist and sent multiple people to the hospital.
St Louis investigators state 31-year-old Candice Cherell Swearengen was driving a Jeep Wrangler that was hit by a 23-year-old southbound driver who crossed the center line and hit Candice and another northbound vehicle.
Candice, a successful and beloved makeup artist who worked at B’Luxury Barber & Beauty in Jennings, died after she was taken to a local hospital. A 5-month-old infant and three other children were taken to hospitals for treatment. The 5-month-old was initially in critical condition.…
