After years of delay, due to competency and sanity evaluations, the case of a Boulder man who was accused of killing his roommate in March 2021 has come to a close with a plea deal.
Brandon Bohler, 33, is now serving a 35-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in November for the death of Richard Reeves.
Bohler was charged with first-degree murder – after deliberation, however the first-degree murder charge was dismissed as part of the deal.
Bohler will receive 1,340 days of credit for time served, equating to about 3 and a half years…
