In a notable crackdown on drug trafficking in Multnomah County, the local Sheriff’s Office’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has delivered a significant blow to the illicit trade with their second major drug bust within a month. According to a social media post by the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office, the SIU operation led to the seizure of 9.5 pounds of fentanyl powder, over a pound of heroin, four firearms, with two reported as stolen, and more than $38,000 in cash. Three suspects have been arrested in connection with these findings.
