VENICE — Missing a deadline to get building permits to correct code violations will cost Arthur McCaffrey $400 a day until he has permits in hand, Venice Code Magistrate Patrick Reilly ordered Wednesday.
At a hearing in January, garages on two properties McCaffrey owns, at 713 and 717 Groveland Ave., were found to be in violation of the city code due to poor condition.
