CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Florida — A man was arrested for illegal dumping and falsely reporting a trailer as stolen after getting it stuck in the mud during the crime, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.At approximately 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, a deputy responded to a lot on Pipefish Court in Placida regarding a large pile of trash and a trailer stuck in the mud. A witness reported seeing a truck pulling another truck out of the mud before both vehicles left, leaving the trash and trailer behind.
