MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man and a woman were arrested for allegedly abusing their teenage son on Thursday.
Delories Hampton and Donald Hampton, both 32, were arrested for Aggravated Child Abuse. Delories’s bond has been set at $150,000. Donald’s bond has not been set. They are set to appear in court on Thursday.
On March 4, police received several calls regarding a 14-year-old boy who had run away. The person who contacted police advised he located a teen hiding on the side of his vehicle.
According to reports, the child told him that someone was trying to kill him. Another person contacted the Memphis police regarding the same child and told the person he was afraid to go home because his family was going to kill him.
