Driver given Narcan after deputies say he caused head-on collision

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Vanderburgh County deputies say they believed the driver that caused a head-on car crash was overdosing, and had to be given Narcan after he lost consciousness.

The Sheriff’s Office received a call to an accident with injuries in the 6600 block of Pollack Avenue just before 5:15 p.m. on Sunday.

Deputies say 31-year-old Kevin Moman was impaired when he swerved into oncoming traffic, hitting another car head-on.

According to officials, Moman continued to fall asleep while deputies attempted to question him and perform a field sobriety test…
