Illegal Alien Arrested In Lakeland For Aggravated Stalking, Assault, And DUI

LAKELAND, Fla. – A man in the country illegally and wanted on aggravated stalking and aggravated assault charges was arrested Tuesday night in Lakeland after a traffic stop revealed he was also driving under the influence.

Polk County Sheriff’s Deputy Lopez spotted 37-year-old Hector Gonzalez-Reyes driving a blue Ford F-150 around 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4th. Knowing that Gonzalez-Reyes was wanted, the deputy conducted a traffic stop on Cherry Tree Drive.

Upon speaking with Gonzalez-Reyes, Deputy Lopez detected the smell of alcohol on his breath and observed that his eyes were red and watery. Gonzalez-Reyes admitted to consuming 4-5 Stella Artois beers…
