A homicide investigation has been opened by the Jackson Police Department concerning the fatal shooting that took place Wednesday.
According to the Jackson Police Department, detectives responded to the scene in the 3500 block of Sunset Drive Wednesday, where they found that the victim, Jakendrick Bass, had suffered gunshot wounds that proved fatal.
