Prosecutors have upgraded the charge against a 29-year-old man accused in a deadly 2019 crash on Interstate 27 that killed a man and injured his grandmother.
Evan Charles Flacy is now charged with a count of manslaughter, a second-degree felony that carries a punishment of two to 20 years in prison.
Flacy, who is out on bond, is accused of driving his vehicle at excessive speeds, failing to keep a proper distance from other vehicles, failing to change lanes in safely, failing to keep a proper lookout, causing the Dec. 16, 2019, wreck that killed of 21-year-old Zatryx Boggus and injured 86-year-old Carolyne Travis, according to the indictment…
