Dear Editor: Elon Musk’s crocodile tears for the state of our economy are far from convincing. He, who so desperately wants to balance our national budget, just supported the latest budget bill, which includes more tax cuts for millionaires, and those alone, add $4.3 trillion to our national debt.
His wild and cruel chainsaw cuts threaten Medicaid, which, among many other things, is the largest provider of health care to our rural children. He has cut federal jobs, many of which are filled by veterans. He has cut programs seeking cures for cancer, Ebola and other deadly diseases. His USAID cuts are literally killing children and many others, all over our planet, who rely on USAID care for their survival. Aid has been one way of keeping America popular around the world.
When summer comes, out park visitors will suffer by all the cuts to park workers. Elon doesn’t care…
