Suspect in Waco’s first 2025 murder brought back to face charges

Waco, Tx ( FOX 44 ) – The 19-year-old suspect in Waco’s first murder of 2025 has been brought back from Grand Prairie to face charges.

Gregory O’Neil Clay had been arrested by U.S. Marshals last month in Grand Prairie after he was identified as the prime suspect in the February 5 shooting of 34-year-old Keith Cobb II.

Cobb was found as police responded to a call to the area of Ozark and Howard Streets at 7:15 p.m. February 5. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
