PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Authorities say a suspect is dead after a police shooting at a north Phoenix apartment complex late Thursday morning.
The shooting was reported at The Place at Wickertree apartments near the Loop 101 Agua Fria and 23rd Avenue shortly after 10 a.m. Authorities confirmed the shooting involved Glendale police officers who were part of a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) task force.
Investigators confirmed one person died at the scene. No officers or federal agents were injured.
