Frisco police shooting was fatal, sources confirm

FRISCO, Texas — Officers with the Frisco Police Department were involved in a shooting Thursday evening, the department confirmed.

FPD said officers were in the 5400 block of Travis Drive, just off Legacy Drive, just after 6 p.m. serving felony arrest warrants at a home when shots were fired. The department did not disclose what led up to the shooting or who shot but confirmed that no officers were injured.
