Southern Arizona sheriffs push back on Gov. Hobbs’ new border effort

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A new border security task force by Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs is getting some pushback from sheriffs in southern Arizona.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos entered a meeting with Hobbs and others where she announced a collaboration with sheriff departments to fight drug smuggling and human trafficking.

Nanos said he only stayed for about 10 minutes…
