Four horses at a boarding facility in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, recently tested positive for equine herpesvirus-1 (EHV-1).
The first case is an 18-year-old Thoroughbred gelding, who tested positive on Feb. 22 after developing clinical signs on Feb. 20, including colic, ataxia, and incontinence.
