Murder suspect arrested after stabbing behind Greenville gas station

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Greenville Police Department said a man has been charged with murder in connection with a stabbing in February.

Officers were called to a wooded area behind the QT gas station on Verdae Boulevard at Woodruff Road on Feb. 20.

The victim, 31-year-old Vicente Martinez, was stabbed at least four times next to a tent in the woods. He was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital with critical injuries, where he passed away on Feb. 22…
