Pope Francis Continues to Improve Following Hospitalization
Vatican City – Pope Francis continues to show gradual improvement following his recent hospitalization for pneumonia, according to Vatican officials. His blood work remains stable, and he is responding well to ongoing therapy. While doctors remain cautiously optimistic, they describe his prognosis as still guarded.
The Pope rested well overnight and continues to alternate between rest, physiotherapy, prayer, and light work. He is receiving non-invasive ventilation at night and high-flow oxygen therapy during the day.
Despite his health challenges, Pope Francis plans to participate in spiritual exercises with the Vatican Curia throughout the coming week.
