A fire broke out inside of an east Erie home Friday. Calls of a structure fire went out Friday morning around 11:43 in the 3800 block of Marion Street.
When first responders arrived, they said thick black was rolling out the rear of the home.

According to bystanders, everyone who was in the house got out unharmed, including a dog. Erie firefighters quickly put the blaze out and began ventilation of the home which was still filled with smoke.
Thankfully, first responders were already nearby and were able to minimize the spread and damage.
