ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A man driving a U-Haul was arrested after fleeing from a traffic stop in Anderson County.
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Brandon Wheeler following a traffic stop on Slab Bridge Road. Deputies initiated the stop due to Wheeler reportedly committing many traffic violations while operating the U-Haul box truck.
Authorities said when the stop was initiated Wheeler allegedly put the vehicle in park and fled on foot. Deputies were able to locate the suspect a short time later…
