Another 72-thousand VA jobs around the country are on the chopping block.
In late February, Veterans Affairs Secretary Doug Collins visited VA facilities in Hazard and Lexington. He said services to veterans and beneficiaries would not be affected by the firing of 2,400 VA employees nationwide. Last week, he confirmed media reports of plans to reduce the VA workforce by an additional 72-thousand.
