You better start watching your speed in Northern Colorado because more speeding cameras are being installed. The city of Fort Collins installed speed cameras a few months ago, and now, the city of Loveland is doing the same.
Speed cameras are becoming more common across the entire state. The state of Colorado is investing $5 million in speed cameras that will be installed on Colorado highways.
We expect driving habits to change drastically in Colorado. Colorado drivers will now watch their speed, not just for law enforcement vehicles, but for automatic tickets, too.
Loveland Points Out Speeding Issue
Speeding is a major problem in Colorado. In fact, Colorado is the second most dangerous state in the nation because of speeding.
The Loveland Police Department shared on social media that there were 50 speeding infractions at one school zone in just thirty minutes.
Now, I am no mathematician, but that is over one infraction a minute…
