ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — The U.S. Marshals and multiple police departments in Louisiana are asking for the public’s help after an Allen County man wanted for child trafficking has been spotted in Louisiana.
According to a Facebook post from the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, multiple police departments and the U.S Marshals are searching for 35-year-old Antonio “Raemone” Lewis Jr, who fled Fort Wayne sometime around Christmas to the Hammond, LA area.
Lewis is wanted on a felony warrant out of Allen County for the charges of;
- Rape by Force
- Promotion of Child Sexual Trafficking
According to the post, while in Hammond, Lewis, known as “Raemone” to the area, has been living at an address off of Hinson Road and has been employed at a fast food restaurant and as a delivery driver.
Investigators with the Hammond Police Department discovered Lewis’s location in mid-February, but before they were able to make an arrest, he was able to flee with the help of several family members…
