Clouds moving tonight

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Boy, did we see the temperatures rise today. The Grand Strand made it to 80 degrees. The Pee Dee made it to the upper 70s. A nice little preview of spring today. Tonight we will see clouds move, and possibly an isolated shower. Lows will be in the mid 40s.

REMEMBER WE HAVE A BURN BAN IN HORRY AND GEORGETOWN COUNTIES. NO BURNING!! As we go throughout the day on Sunday we stand the chance to see some showers in the area., the best time will be the morning hours. A brief break Sunday afternoon, before more rain and heavier rain moves in Sunday night into Monday.

Low pressure will develop off of our coast and will bring a nice soaking rainfall to the area for Monday. This will help with fire fighting efforts in the Carolina Forest area, but will also give us some much needed rain, as a lot of us are in a severe drought. An isolated thunderstorm will be possible Monday, mainly near our coastal areas. It will be a little cooler with temperatures mainly in the 50s, a few locations could sneak into the low 60s…
