AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) announces another fugitive from Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrants List has been captured in Houston. Armando Flores Aguilar was arrested on Friday, Feb. 14. A Crime Stoppers reward will be paid in his arrest.
Armando Flores Aguilar, 69, a criminal illegal immigrant from Mexico, was taken into custody in Houston by DPS Special Agents, Texas Highway Patrol Troopers and members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force. He had been wanted out of Bastrop Co. since September 2024 for aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child.
Funded by the Governor’s Public Safety Office, Texas Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of Texas’ 10 Most Wanted Fugitives, Sex Offenders or Criminal Illegal Immigrants. So far in 2025, DPS and other agencies have arrested nine Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives, Sex Offenders and Criminal Illegal Immigrants, including two sex offenders and three criminal illegal immigrants – with $15,000 in rewards being paid for tips that yielded arrests…
