VERO BEACH, Fla. – Lillian Gottman and Lara Dommach of the Purdue Fort Wayne women’s golf team both earned their first top-five finishes of their career on Sunday (March 9) at the NKU Spring Fling.
Gottman (80-75-155) improved in round two, jumping up three spots thanks to her 3-over 75. She had a clean front nine with an even 36. She was bogey-free from 1-8, including a birdie on four. On the back nine, she had a stretch of six pars in a row.
Dommach (79-76-155) had nothing worse than a bogey in round two and found two birdies. She recorded her first birdie on six, which stabilized her for the rest of the round.
