NAKINA, N.C. (WECT) – One man was killed in a house fire late Saturday.
According to Nakina Fire and Rescue, they responded to the call in the 700 block of Manley Smith Road in Nakina at 11:54 p.m.. One woman was able to escape the house, but a man got stuck inside and died in the fire.
Fire crews quickly started to suspect foul play, so they reached out to the Columbus County Fire Marshal to help with further investigation…
