‘We’ve been nervous’: Tesla owner requesting to remain anonymous speaks out after car damaged by gunfire

TIGARD, Ore. — A Tesla owner who wished to remain anonymous said his car was among those damaged by gunfire at a Tigard dealership last week, leaving him concerned about owning the electric vehicle.

The man told KGW he had taken his Tesla to the store to have the windshield replaced, only to have the replacement damaged during the shooting incident.

“We’ve been nervous driving the car and uncomfortable even having it parked out in front of our house,” he said. “We have taken the steps of covering the car at night.”…
