MOJAVE, CA – Pacific Steel Group has begun construction on the Mojave Micro Mill, California’s first new steel mill in over 50 years, according to the Office of Governor Gavin Newsom.

The groundbreaking event, held Wednesday, marked a significant milestone for Kern County’s economic growth and California’s ambitious climate goals.
