BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle as they crossed lanes of Highway 178 near Union Ave on Saturday, California Highway Patrol officials said.
The crash took place March 8 east of Union Avenue along Highway 178 just after 3 p.m. CHP investigators said the pedestrian was crossing northbound from the south shoulder on Highway 178 when they were struck.
