SURPRISE, Ariz. — A dog who was abandoned in Surprise is safe, and the people suspected of dumping him were arrested, authorities said.
The Surprise Police Department said officers responded to the area near Peoria Avenue and Perryville Road after a woman reported finding an abandoned dog near a walking trail.
