Norfolk Navy vet with Stage 4 cancer looking for help getting to doctors

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — An occasional ride, a mechanic who can fix their car — those are the some of the less obvious, but not less important needs for James Moore and his wife, Brenda.

Moore, 70, was rocked about a year ago by his diagnosis of Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Worse yet, it was inoperable and it had already begun spreading to his bones.

10 On Your Side had helped Moore get coverage from the VA for hernia surgery four years ago when it had to be done on an emergency basis at DePaul Medical Center. But this latest diagnosis was something entirely different
