Two men hurt in Baton Rouge shooting, police say

BATON ROUGE, La. ( Louisiana First ) — Two people were injured in a Baton Rouge shooting on Monday, March 10.

The Baton Rouge Police Department responded around 3:40 p.m. to a call about shots fired in the 400 block of W. Johnson Street near Highland Road. Two men were found with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said the shooting victims were taken to a hospital by private vehicle.

One of the victims told detectives that he was driving when shots were fired. A second shooting victim said he was walking down the street when he was reportedly struck by gunfire…
