Wildfire dangers increased to the point that the Oklahoma Forestry Services located two Suppresson Groups in Guthrie and Woodward on Tuesday.
The agency explained elevated fire weather was in place with warm and dry conditions adding, “Fire danger will increase each day this week ahead of the much discussed, potent storm system on Friday when widespread very-high to extreme will be established across Oklahoma.”
The OFS indicated further that ahead of the approaching storm system any initial attack ativity is “expected to steadily increase through the week with worsening resistance to control on going fires.”…
