TONOPAH, AZ (AZFamily) — The Arizona Department of Public Safety has identified three of the four victims who were killed in a fiery chain-reaction crash on Interstate 10 near Tonopah earlier this month.
DPS says the crash claimed the lives of:
- Norma Morales, 41, of Whittier, California
- Melinda Marie Kobald, 38, of Peoria, Arizona
- Dustin Levi Cluff, 41, of Prescott Valley, Arizona
The fourth victim’s identity has not been released and is pending next-of-kin confirmation.
The crash happened on March 1 on I-10, about 14 miles west of Tonopah. DPS says an initial crash occurred, which then led to secondary collisions.
The crash involved 12 vehicles, including six commercial vehicles, four passenger vehicles, and an RV towing a trailer. Multiple vehicles caught fire in the collision…
