Owner of Sparks restaurant speaks out after two vandalism incidents

RENO, Nev. (KOLO)—El Rincon Restaurant has been a staple in the Sparks community for 20 years. Only in the last six months has the business experienced a hardship it never had before.

The first time someone broke the front window of the restaurant was in December last year. The owner, Ernesto Figueroa, says his camera showed what looked like young adults or kids that broke in to steal a bottle of alcohol.

The second time was about ten days ago when someone broke in during the early morning hours. The side door was damaged along with a mess inside. Figueroa suspects the person was looking for money and found none. He adds that recently other businesses in the block have also been broken into but there is no information on if the incidents are connected…
