Coyote spotted on Upper East Side

UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) — A coyote was spotted and captured by police on the Upper East Side Tuesday, according to the NYPD.

The coyote was captured without harm around 9:31 a.m. on 80th Street near Second Avenue, police said.

It’s not immediately clear where the coyote came from. It was captured in front of a parking garage not far from Central Park.

Officers from the Department of Environmental Conservation picked up the coyote from the NYPD, and the next step will be sending it for a health evaluation…
