A new restaurant is under construction at 225 Weybosset St. in Providence from a couple with local roots who met while working at the Michelin-starred restaurant Per Se in New York City.
Claudine will be opened by husband-and-wife chefs Josh Finger and Maggie McConnell, perhaps as early as May. For McConnell, who was born and raised in Providence, this is a homecoming for the pastry chef.
