Alright, who upset mother nature because these El Paso winds are just getting out of hand and my hair is not happy about it!
Last week was a week full of dust-filled chaos and just when we thought we were over those windy and dusty days, Mother Nature comes back with more winds, and even stronger winds are expected in other parts of West Texas!
Yup, some parts of Texas are expected to feel up to 80 MPH gusts, while Oklahoma braces for winds reaching 60 MPH. That means dirt-filled skies, flying trash bins, and tumbleweeds moving at highway speeds.
To make matters worse, the combination of high winds and dry conditions is creating extremely dangerous fire weather, increasing the risk of wildfires across the region. If last week’s dust storm was any indication, visibility will be near zero in some areas, leading to hazardous driving conditions and a whole lot of grit in places it definitely doesn’t belong…
