Washington County judge grants initial trial start for 2026 in civil cases against Brian Hyatt

WASHINGTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — Lawsuits by former patients against the Rogers psychiatrist and former member of the Arkansas State Medical Board Brian Hyatt are advancing through a Washington County court with a potential trial date set for next year.

The lawsuits filed against Hyatt and Northwest West Medical’s Behavior Unit in Springdale, accuse Hyatt of unlawful coercion and abuse in an effort to receive more payments from Medicaid, Medicare and insurance companies.
