2 teens arrested for separate violent gun crimes in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with separate cases involving violent crimes and firearms, including a shooting and an armed robbery, Indianapolis police said Tuesday.

Officers arrested a 14-year-old boy after two teenage girls were shot about 6 p.m. March 2 near the intersection of East 23rd and North Alabama streets. Both girls were stable after good Samaritans came to their aid, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said.
