A Sarasota area restaurant known for its breakfast and lunch dishes — its waffle in particular — has expanded to Anna Maria Island, and will soon join a downtown Sarasota neighborhood growing in popularity.
Toasted Mango Cafe opened in late February at 3240 E. Bay Drive on Holmes Beach in Benderson Development’s Anna Maria Island Center. It then hopes to open in mid-March at 1371 Boulevard of the Arts in the Parkside development in Sarasota’s Rosemary District, said restaurant co-owner Kimberly Duffy. The Rosemary District location will replace Toasted Mango Cafe’s previous downtown Sarasota space on North Tamiami Trail, while its other pre-existing location on Siesta Key will remain open.
